Titan's Tower roof

"I know im not supposed to be here, but im here anyways" i thought
i stared out into the sea
i sighed, i was out of my battlesuit. it lay there next to me.
i continued to stare out into the sea.

The tower sensors had picked up on something metallic on the roof... but it wasn't moving...

I swear to God, if I have to fend off alien on my own...

Xzuk began walking up towards the roof hoping for the best.

as i started putting on my gear, the helmet said "you do realize one human is heading towards us?"
"yeah" i simply stated
"is the built in MP3 working?" i asked
"yeah"
"can you put on Aerodynamic?"
"sure"
i stood there, listening and looking out to the sea

I thought about the Seige of Azarath.
the place was beautiful why had the Federation decided to attack it?
i contacted the Battleship "Yellow Bawkses"
"you guys set up your teleporter yet?"
"yes sir, sir we havent heard from you for 2 months, we were worried sick!" said the com officer at the Yellow Bawkses
"ive been busy" i said

Xzuk rounded the corner on top of the tower and saw a large metal man talking about teleporting...

"SPACE MAN!!! AHHH!!!!"

He shot a sound wave towards the suit and ran.

"umph!" and Grim flew off the edge, just like at Vurak. Grim used his jumppack to slow his decent.

Xzuk was now hiding behind one of the monstrous A/C vent fans. After about 15 seconds he poked his head out to get a peek at the alien... It was gone...

Well... That was easy...

He stood up and began talking to himself

"And I didn't even need Kasumi... Haha! Score."

his jump pack got Grim back up to the roof and he grunted
"everyone here hates me" said grim
Grim remembered the first time he got here, hit by robins and starfires explosives and then hit by a sonic cannon, only to be pinned up against a wall and beast boy in rhino mode running me over.

Grim noticed Xzuk and said "hey"

..What was that...?

Xzuk turned and saw the suit again... ah man....

"... You can.... talk?"

"never see a soldier before?"

"its just a huge battlesuit with a load of stuff packed into it." Grim stated

... Ah... technical stuff... Xzuk didn't mix well with technology...

"Hate to say it, but that's really not my area...Sorry about the blast. Been at the tower alone for nearly a month now. On edge is the best word for it."

"its okay, ive been though worse, so anyone else here thats gonna freak and blow me off the edge?" grim said

"Umm... Maybe Sumi... I mean uh... Fallen... If you get her in a bad mood... otherwise the team is pretty laid back. I'm just kinda not smart... so I jump the gun. A lot."

He smiled a little as he headed back towards the doors.

"You're welcome to chill for a while if you like."

"i might hang around for a while"

"Sounds good mate. You didn't drag any trouble along with you did ya?"

Xzuk was only kidding, but anything was possible.

"im not sure, but i think that some Fed' scouts are gonna come by soon."

"What the hell is a Fed scout?"

Sounded like a girlscout from hell... or from the government...

"soldiers like me, but their outdated. me and the expeditionary 43rd force are the best of the best. they have outdated armor and weapons but they have a bigger jetpack. we could easily take them out." said Grim

the Federation was a ****ed up government who attacked everyone without thinkin it through, it happened at Azarath but insted of the Feds winning they got a good buttkicking. it was then the 43rd and I went renegade

"Interesting... Well, we've had an event recently occur here that is very similiar to that."

He smiled a little.

"So, the best of the best huh? Sounds pretty awesome. I bet the arsenal makes some nice fireworks..."

not really, but the effect is what matters. if you wanna see something that makes the 4th of july a pop-rock, then look at the battleships guns

"You bring one of those with you?"

He smiled imagining the Titans just blowing up an enemy rather than fighting him hand to hand.

a cannon? we have a 2 handed one somewhere in the armory, and its better for the public if you fight the baddies hand to hand
