Titans East Tower

Kira walked over to the kitchen bench and lent on it, breathing in the scent of the steaks. she giggled at Xzuk as he dove for the fridge for a soda refill.

"sure i'll have one." she laughed.

"Drink away Kira!"

He smiled as he pulled the two London Broil from the burner.. they were still rare. Perfect.

"First rule of a London Broil, is that its meant to be bloody."

The meat was still a deep pinkish red in the middle. Perfection at its finest.

"thank you for your permission oh mighty frying pan master!" Kira joked with a mock half bow before she giggled and danced over to the fridge and pulled out a soda.

Kira returned to the bench grinned wolfishly at the rare steak. the rarer the better for her.

she picked up the two steaks and headed for the couch, precariously balancing hers and Xzuk's drinks on her head.

"wanna bring the sauce?" she asked without turning.

"Yeah I got it!"

He smiled while watching the balancing act walk away.

He couldn't wait to eat...

Kira was almost at the couch when the communicator clipped on her belt went haywire, along with the rest of the tower.

"Eek!" Kira yelped, jumping a good foot into the air. she landed and stepped back, catching the drinks on the plates of steaks. quickly she placed them on the table and spun to face Xzuk.

"titan's go?" she asked, having to raise her voice above the excessively loud siren.

"... Titans... Go!"

He smiled and took off through a window. Mostly because he'd always wanted to.

... Ouwch... That was harder than I expected....

He landed on the ground outside the tower and scanned the area...

Kira grinned in return and laughed as Xzuk flew through the window. that was going to hurt in the morning!

adrenaline rushing through her Kira ran and dived out the window after Xzuk. she free fell for a few moments before rapidly transforming into wolfy form and landing on all four paws with a quiet thud.

she exchanged glances with Xzuk before running off towards the city. she could smell the deadly mix of chemicals and fire. that would be her first stop.

Kira ran up to the base of the tower and didn't pause for a second. she simply leapt into the air and using her extra strength she propelled herself through the broken window back into the common room. she landed with a roll and let herself be stopped by a hard collision with the table. she curled up into a ball and clutched her head with her hands.

Kira took deep shuddering breaths to try and contain the sobs that were threatening to break through. every once of her was screaming at her to go back to the alley and rip those criminals to shreds and feast on their flesh. the thought sickened her but at the same time stirred a deep need. Kira felt herself warming to the need. she had to satisfy it or she'd go insane! Kira started to unfurl and it was then that she realized that she had transformed into the wolf and that it was not her thoughts she was hearing but its! with a cry Kira wrested back control from the wolf and hurriedly transformed back into a human.

"no!" she yelled staggering to her feet. the wolf roared and snarled and threw it's self at her consciousness. Kira cried out and fell to the floor again, clutching her head in pain. this had never happened before. the inner wolf had never purposely tried to wrench control from Kira yet alone purposely hurt Kira! something was very wrong!

Kira curled up into a ball and gritted her teeth. no matter what she would not release this monster on the world. she would rather die first.

the wolf heard Kira's thought and howled in frustration and anger. it bit and tore at Kira's consciousness desperately trying to get out.

(yeah, just thought i should take Kira's character in a new direction, she was kinda boring to rp with before )

Kira grimaced through her teeth and slowly reached at with her left hand and started to crawl forwards. she had to get to her bag which was lying at the entrance to the commons where she had dropped it when she first arrived.

the wolf realized what she was going to do and attacked with renewed fury.

Kira screamed and curled into a ball again as three long gashes cut across her back. the wolf's attacks were actually hurting her in real life! this was not going to end well for either of the pair so Kira gritted her teeth and started forward again. if she got to her bag then the world would be safe.

by the time Kira got to the bag she had deep bite marks on both her forearms, her back was ripped to pieces and her legs looked as though someone had tried to put them through the shredder. tears streaming down her cheeks and almost at the end of her will strength she slipped her hand into the bag and drew out a small needle. Kira flicked off the plastic cap and gratefully stabbed the needle into her thigh.

the wolf howled in defeat as the tranquilizer coursed through Kira's veins. back home in Australia Kael had worked at a veterinary clinic and had gotten these sedatives for her after her accidental rampage and attack on him. they were so strong they would kill a horse. lucky for Kira this meant that she would just be unconscious for a few days. plenty of time for Xzuk to get back and figure out something was seriously wrong and hopefully lock her in somewhere. it also meant Kira had plenty of time to try and get the wolf under control herself. although this maybe more difficult than normal. the wolf seems determined to steal complete control.

Vayl stood next to his floor to ceiling tinted glass windows in his penthouse suite looking out across the cove through a pair of binoculars. he couldn't help but chuckle darkly as the poor wolf girl Kira was practically butchered alive by the animal inside her. his eyes glittered evilly as an idea struck him. why wait? why not just take the girl now? the other titan was nowhere to be seen, it was almost to easy.

Vayl lifted his hand and pointed it across the cove and exerted his will on Kira's blood. her eyes stayed closed as Vayl lifted her to her feet then he made her eyes snap open. he gently waved his hand and laid instructions in her blood. Kira turned on the spot and started to walk out of the tower as though majority of her blood supply wasn't on the floor in a puddle behind her.

Vayl smirked and turned and swept out of the room. he had a poker game to win at the casino downstairs.

Kira walked out of the tower and Vayl's left over instructions lead her down the street and set her on a path to his mansion. she would have no idea what was happening to her as she was asleep due to the dart. it would feel to her as though she were sleep walking.

(soz for the god mod, i couldn't think of any other way to do it. just wanted to do the first taking over control of the blood post so you guys have some idea how it goes. i'll edit if you don't like it. )

the dart had done it's job and to anyone seeing her it would seem although she was now sleeping peacefully. this was anything but true. the battle for control had only just begun.

Kira glanced around in the darkness and found the wolf. it's pitch black eyes glowed at her and it drew it's lips back in a snarl. Kira drew in a deep breath and clenched her hands into fists. this battle would leave no marks on her body, instead it would damage her will and mind. if Kira lost this then she would be lost in this never ending darkness forever and the world would have a nigh on unstoppable monster on it's hands. Xzuk wouldn't stand a chance. Kira dropped into more of a fighting crouch and prepared for the wolf's attack. it was sure to leap at her and try to bite her head off first, it liked to take the simplest route to it's goal.

sure enough the wolf tensed and just as it was about to spring something happened. both Kira and the wolf felt their body move of it's own accord. Kira and the wolf exchanged glances and then stared in confusion as light flooded from what seemed like miles above, down onto them.

why the hell are my eyes open? Kira wondered. it would be distracting but there was nothing she or the wolf could do. they were trapped in the deep recesses of Kira's mind until the tranquilizer wore off which could be days. putting the mystery of why she was walking away to be dealt with later, Kira turned back to the wolf just as the wolf turned back to her. the pair glared into each others eyes and at an unspoken signal they leapt at each other.

now that the fight had begun only the contestant with the strongest will would win.

Vayl smirked in victory as another million dollars worth of chips was pushed over to his pile. the other all star players gave him death stares. they knew he was cheating but couldn't figure out how! Vayl lent back and dangled his arm over the back of his chair. fools he thought and closed his eyes. his newest blood puppet should almost be back to the slaves quarters at the mansion. Vayl's brow creased in thought as an idea struck him.

"i'm sorry gentlemen but i must take my leave of you. i am needed elsewhere. it was a pleasure gambling with you." Vayl purred getting to his feet. a porter came and helped him into his trademark jacket. Vayl flipped his collar up and stalked out of the casino. the porter knew to put all of his winnings into his account.

Vayl retried his motorbike and slipped on his helmet. his new guest was going to need better facilities than what he already had when she woke up. Vayl gunned the engine and shot off towards his mansion.
