Jump City Mental Ward

alex walked into his brothers old "room". it looke more like a prosion. alex told the peole he was a titan and retreived his brother's file. another news clipping:

as alex read it he found out his brother vanished, and he had been the prime suspect until his mysterious guardian vouched for him. alex searche the room for clues. with a quick scan of the room he found nothing, until he sat on te bed. under the bed was a picture of him and his brother.

"... jack..." alex wrote down what he found out.

1) he had a brother, who mysteroly vanished days after his admitance
2) they were orphans
3)he had a mysterious Guarian who name was unknown
4)why is his name unknown...
5)he had a record
6) for 2 years after his adoption something happened....

just then a guard came in and took him to titans tower...

Xzuk awoke, not to Sumi like he'd hoped, but to Alex at the door with a policeman..

"Umm... Whats up doc?"

"sir, do you know this man?" said the officewr.

He looked at Alex.

What happened?

"Yes, I do... Leave him here. I'll deal with this."

" ...sup." said Alex when the guard left.

"... So... what was that all about?"

Xzuk wasn't mad or concerned. It's not like the kid blew up half the city...

"ummm... i got aressted for posing as a titan so i could get some records on my past at the mental ward... where is everyone?"

"Well, look. Keep this. You're a Titan on leave."

He passed him his old communicator.

"Security won't be a problem for you now. And we've got your back if you need it."

He looked around the tower...

"And as to your other question, I dunno where everyone is... But some action would be nice... What I wouldn't give for a bank heist..."

"... you wanna help me investigate?"

"Anything is better than being here. Got too much on my mind anyway.."

This investigation would be a welcome get away...

"Where to Alex?"

"okay so far i found out that for 13 years of my life ive been in a orphage with my brother jack. when i was thirteen my brother was taken to a mental ward for his adiction to videoames. it was like a comatic state that he would be sucked into his games.

i got mad and commited arson on the orphanage and when to jail. i got bailed out and adopted by a mysterious guardian. few days later jack dissapears.

i seems i didn't have my powers until the 2 year lapse in time where i was adopted and when i turned up in the park with no memory. who and where is Jack, who is my guarian, and how did i get my powers?"

alex was pacing back and forth. "we need to check the titans criminal records for me... i have a feeling though that someone is trying to hide my past from the world... and me..."

"Be my guest. This sounds a lot like... frankenstein or something... someone might've made your powers..."

He pointed towards the evidence room.

"Files are in there."

alex pulled up his file, and as expected, most of it was erased up to a point. the weird thing was his adoption papers. "it... says im.. deceased..."

"Well... You don't look undead to me..."

"It would seem... that someone failed to kill you... and was just a little too confident and changed your file before they tried to kill you..."

alex checked his dna and the one with the one on the file. he lso did a retna check and fingerprint scan. "they don't match.."

"Umm... that might be bad...."

This was definatley curious... what the hell happened to this kid?

" this is a dead end..." alex looked at the monitor. "maybe alistar knows something... i showed up wwhen he did...."

"You wanna get shot by 300 people, then yes, maybe you should talk to him..."

okay, lets go then!" alex said, thinking that Xzuk was incuraging him.

"Uh... I was definately kidding... but hey, suicide is my buisness... Lets move..."

He smiled and headed for the door.

a female blood puppet danced into the mental hospital, strapped across her waist was bomb.

the woman was rather elderly and had long since out lived her usefulness to Vayl and this seemed the easiest way to get rid of her. plus it would be entertaining.

the staff screamed and ran for cover. the puppet simply kept dancing in the door which, rather stupidly, was the only way out.

Kira came to a halt outside the hospital and her mouth hung open. a suicide bomber! what the hell?! She thought in amazement. this city is officially insane! she declared to herself then walked carefully into the ward.

The woman didn't notice her and continued to dance. Kira calmly walked up to the woman and took her by the shoulders to stop her.

the moment the woman's dance was stopped her face fell from a smile to a death stare. oh crap! Kira thought as she realized her mistake. hurriedly she reached for the bomb but the woman knocked her hands out of the way and launched into an attacking frenzy!

Kira ducked and weaved, to astonished to do anything else. Jesus! Mary! mother of fucking Christ! she swore to herself, coping a blow to the jaw.

the blow did it. Kira snapped back to attention and drew her claws. faster than the woman could see Kira sliced and diced.

Kira came to a halt and stepped back. in her hand she held the explode-y part of the bomb. nobody moved. then, a moment later, the old woman's jacket and straps holding the bomb to her chest, disintegrated into pieces of material less than 5mm by 5mm. slowly the mist drifted to the floor.

Kira walked over to the desk and pulled out a pair of restraints these psych nurses always had on hand. quickly she handcuffed the old lady and steered her into one of the padded cells, locking her in.

"tell the police where she is and give them this." Kira commanded, handing the closest nurse the explode-y thingy.

Kira then turned and jogged off to find Xzuk.
